One of the many colourful cabins around Mayo, May Fairclough's House was originally built for Isabel Kimbel. May Fairclough, the daughter of Ira and Eliza Van Bibber, retired to live here in 1969. She and her husband George owned and operated Pelly Farm from 1927 to 1940. George also operated a freight boat on the Pelly River and was also in the wood cutting business.
