This cover was carried by the Yukon Airways & Exploration Company on the first official air mail flight from Carcross, Yukon, to Whitehorse, in 1928. Note the date stamps from Carcross on April 13, and Whitehorse on April 16 - an energetic person could walk the 45 miles road miles between the communities in less than 3 days now! Note that the Yukon Airways stamp has been attached to the front of the envelope, contrary to postal regulations.
