A Guide to the Alaska Highway ("Alcan") Stone sheep (Ovis dalli stonei) at about Km 608. Stone sheep are a subspecies of thinhorn sheep (Ovis dalli) - further north, a pure white subspecies known as Dall sheep predominate.
