DELTA SALOON, VIRGINIA CITY
Open to all visitors, the Delta Saloon and Gambling Place is an historical place where fortunes were made and lost at the turn of a wheel.
PIPER'S OPERA HOUSE, VIRGINIA CITY
As in pioneer days, this old building is an outstanding attraction. The wear of years does not seem to detract from its charm.
MAIN STREET, VIRGINIA CITY
This view shows present-day Main Street as it winds its way into the brown Nevada hills.
STOREY COUNTY COURT HOUSE, VIRGINIA CITY
This Court House was built in 1876 after a disastrous fire destroyed the former building the previous year. The eyes of Justice are not covered.
ST. MARY'S CHURCH, VIRGINIA CITY
Many people come here to visit and worship in this old church.
ST. PAUL'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, VIRGINIA CITY
The original Church was built in 1861. It was destroyed by fire in 1875 and rebuilt in 1876.
BUCKET OF BLOOD SALOON, VIRGINIA CITY
This building, standing since 1876, is one of the most interesting buildings in the Old West.
"TERRITORIAL ENTERPRISE," VIRGINIA CITY
This is the original home of Nevada's first newspaper which today is still being published from its newer quarters.
