1911, September 22 (The Weekly Star): "Marsh Lake District - Several men are still prospecting in the country east of Marsh Lake and in the vicinity where there was some excitement over an alleged discovery. As yet nothing has been revealed to warrant any staking, but the country is said to look promising and, anyway, gold is where it is found."
