The Jackass Inn

Exploring Highway 1, Cache Creek to Hope

The Jackass Inn, named for Jackass Mountain, was located on Highway 1 about 12 miles north of Boston Bar, BC. It was owned by Rob Pritchett in 1974, and burned later in the 1970s.

This postcard was printed in about 1965.

This piece, collected at the Jackass Inn in about 1970, was printed on heavy paper, but I don't know what its purpose was. The brilliance of the orange doesn't really come across well on the Web.

The following article appeared in The Citizen (Prince George, BC) on October 9, 1974.
