It was with feelings of deepest regret that news of the passing of Mrs.
F. A. Cederberg at the Whitehorse General Hospital on Sunday, June 24, was received hy the townspeople. Mrs. Cederberg was one of the most lovable women of the North and for her
graciousness and generosity had endeared herself to the entire populace of Whitehorse.
Clarinda Gladys Cederberg was born on October 1, 1899, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Davis of Ladner, B.C. On May 7, 1924, she was married to Frederick A. Cederberg in Vancouver, coming to the North immediately, where her husband was employed by
the White Pass & Yukon Route. After residing in Bennett and Fraser for a few months they moved to Whitehorse where they have since resided.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 26 at Christ Church, the
Rev. H. B. Metcalf officiating. Pallbearers were Messrs. D. A. Muirhead, W. D. MacBride, N. Murray, F. Langholz, B. Petersen and J. E. French. A large number of friends attended
the service and there were many beautiful floral offerings testifying to the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Interment was in the Whitehorse Cemetery.
Surviving her besides her husband are three children, Frederick, Olga and
Shirley of Whitehorse; her father, Mr. Chas. Davis and five brothers and two sisters, all of Ladner and vicinity.
Our community joins the large circle of friends throughout the North in extending their sincerest sympathy to Mr. Cederberg and family.
