CF-OVW was built by Douglas at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1942 as a C-47A-5-DK Skytrain, Serial #12267. Eventually transferred from the RCAF to civilian registration as CF-OVW, a Douglas DC3C-S1C3G, it served Air North from 1982 until 1998 with the name and tail art "Yukon Sourdough".
