by Murray Lundberg

Campgrounds and Rest Areas in the Yukon

This large paved rest area is located at Km 1419.2 of the Alaska Highway, 0.2 km south of the turn to downtown Whitehorse. It has outhouses, interpretive panels, and club information signs. Due to abuse by locals, garbage bins at this rest stop and the next one north of Whitehorse were removed in 2012.
