White Pass Summit Rest Area, BC

by Murray Lundberg

Campgrounds and Rest Areas in the Yukon

The White Pass Summit Rest Area, popularly known as "Outhouse Hill," is located at Km 25.1 of the South Klondike Highway, 1.9 km north of the highway summit, which is in Alaska.

This site is fairly busy as a tourist viewpoint stop in the summer, and for backcountry access summer and winter. As well as outhouses, there is a large avalanche information sign.
