A Guide to Quiet Lake Campground (North), Yukon

Campgrounds in the Yukon

The Quiet Lake Campground (North), operated by Yukon Parks, is located at Km 99 of the gravel Canol Road. It has 10 campsites, none of them pull-throughs. The campground is not big-rig friendly, but neither is the Canol Road north of the Quiet Lake Campground (South). The campground has a boat launch and a kitchen shelter. The nightly fee at Quiet Lake Campground (North), as at all Yukon Parks campgrounds, is $12, and includes firewood.

Quiet Lake Campground (North) is open and fully serviced from May 15 until September 7 (in 2020). It is not gated in the off-season, though, and can be used. Snow is not plowed, and all campers must register (no fee), bring their own toilet paper and firewood, and pack out their garbage. The Canol Road to access the campground is not maintained in the winter.
