A Guide to Little Salmon Lake Campground, Yukon

by Murray Lundberg

Campgrounds & Rest Areas in the Yukon

The Little Salmon Lake Campground, operated by Yukon Parks, is located at Km 501.9 of the Robert Campbell Highway. It has 15 campsites, 7 of them pull-throughs. It also has a boat launch and a kitchen shelter. The nightly fee at Little Salmon Lake Campground, as at all Yukon Parks campgrounds, is $20, and includes firewood.

Little Salmon Lake Campground is open and fully serviced from May 12 until October 2 (in 2023). It is not gated in the off-season, though, and can be used. Snow is not plowed, and all campers must register (no fee), bring their own toilet paper and firewood, and pack out their garbage.
