by Murray Lundberg

Campgrounds and Rest Areas in the Yukon

This large gravel rest area is located at Km 1487 of the Alaska Highway. It has outhouses, garbage bins, and interpretive panels. This rest area is in a large area burned by a wildfire in 1958 - The Milepost incorrectly calls it the Takhini Burn Rest Area.
