A Guide to Lake Creek Campground, Yukon

Campgrounds & Rest Areas in the Yukon Territory

    The Lake Creek Campground, operated by Yukon Parks, is located at Km 1791 of the Alaska Highway. It has 27 campsites, 13 of them pull-throughs. It also has a kitchen shelter. The nightly fee at Lake Creek Campground, as at all Yukon Parks campgrounds, is $12, and includes firewood.

    Lake Creek Campground is open and fully serviced from May 15 until September 28 (in 2020), and is gated in the off-season.

You would assume that the creek that runs beside Lake Creek is Lake Creek. The official campground page, though, says that it's the Koidern River, and their map says it's the White River (it's definitely not the White River). Whatever its name, it's lovely, and is a wonderful place to walk or just sit.
