My best images from The ExploreNorth Blog in 2022

The ExploreNorth Blog

Best images of each month from The ExploreNorth Blog

Dateline: January 8, 2024.

It's common this time of year to look back at what happened during the previous year. For me, the photos on my blog are a good way of doing that, so I decided to pick out the best photo posted each month. "Best" doesn't mean photographically - images that I'd submit to a contest - merely images that I like because they show what we were up to, and that I connect with in various ways.

In 2022, only 28 posts were added to the blog, with a total of 551 photos. The longest post, with 39 photos, was "Exploring the WP&YR rail line south from Spirit Lake to Carcross", added on August 31st.

May 2022
By May 17th I was desperate for some mountain time, and Windy Arm served nicely - see "A short hike at the historic Venus silver mill".

I only posted twice in October, early in the month. One post was about a wander to and around Braeburn with the Tracker and e-bike - see "Exploring around Braeburn, Yukon, by e-bike and 4x4".
