    It's common this time of year to look back at what happened during the previous year. For me, the photos on my blog are a good way of doing that, so I decided to pick out the best photo posted each month. "Best" doesn't mean photographically - images that I'd submit to a contest - merely images that I like because they show what we were up to, and that I connect with in various ways.

    In 2010, 129 posts were added to the blog, with a total of 1,574 photos. The longest post by far, with 58 photos, was "Cruising from Sitka to San Diego on the Radiance of the Seas", added on October 4th.

January 2010
"As spectacular a day as I've ever seen on the South Klondike Highway" seems to have been what I needed - see "Road therapy - peace among the peaks".

February 2010
Flying to Regina for an RCMP graduation ceremony resulted in 4 blog posts, including "Celebrating with the new Mounties in Regina".

March 2010
On March 25th, I drove to Skagway and back, and posted 22 photos - see "The smell of Spring on a drive to Skagway!".

April 2010
I only posted once in April, with 2 photos, on the 28th - see "Crocus alert!".

May 2010
On May 18th we were in Sitka on the Celebrity Infinity, and I had new camera, a Fuji S1800 that I had just bought during our Juneau stop - see "A visit to Sitka, with a great marine wildlife tour".

June 2010
On June 12th I started a 3-sailing gig as the ship naturalist on the Coral Princess, and posted 21 photos the next day - see "Working as ship naturalist on the Coral Princess to Alaska".

July 2010
On July 23rd I bought a new motocycle to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday - see "Adding 2 More Wheels to My Life".

August 2010
A day-trip to Atlin with Cathy on August 16th resulted in a post with 21 photos - see "A day in Atlin, BC".

September 2010
In September I was working as a speaker on the Radiance of the Seas for the 3rd time, this time for 14 days and accompanied by my 87-year-old father - see the first post at "Alaska cruise: Sailing from Vancouver to Sitka".

October 2010
On October 25th I went exploring along the Tutshi River on the way home from Skagway - see "Exploring along the Tutshi River".

November 2010
In November I posted 21 times from a major trip to Florida, with 2 Caribbean cruises - see one day at "Exploring Sint Maarten & Saint Martin".

December 2010
On December 23rd, I posted 4 photos of my drive to work at Expedia CruiseShip Centres - see "A mid-Winter commute in the Yukon".
